Surgical Technologist - Part Time

Baylis Day Surgery

This is a Part Time Surgical Technologist Position

Two 8-hour day shifts per week, M-F (No weekends/holidays/call)

The Baylis Day Surgery Department provides outpatient surgeries in the specialties that include, but aren’t limited to Plastics, Orthopedics, General, Urology, Breast, Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental and Pain Management. The Baylis Registered Nurse (RN) encompasses continuity of care from admission through discharge process.

The Surgical Technologist performs “scrub” technologist duties for scheduled surgeries in the Baylis Day Surgery Operating Room and assists with the draping and utilization of instruments for a particular surgery and age of the patient serviced. Demonstrates knowledge in the basic principles of sterile technique and sterilization procedures. Clinical ladder advancement opportunities available.
