Overview
Make a Meaningful Impact as a Medical Interpreter with Memorial Health
At Memorial Health, we believe every patient deserves to be heard—and understood. That’s why our Language Access Services team plays such a vital role in delivering compassionate, equitable care to our diverse patient community.
We’re currently hiring interpreters to support patients, families, and care teams by providing spoken and written language services for individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) as well as deaf and hard-of-hearing patients. Our interpreters serve as essential cultural and linguistic bridges, ensuring clear, respectful, and accurate communication across all aspects of care.
In this role, you will:
Interpret and translate between English and another language or dialect (spoken and/or written)
Support communication across multiple affiliates and care settings
Apply cultural understanding to foster trust and clarity in medical interactions
Collaborate with departments and contracted services to ensure 24/7 access to language services
Promote cross-cultural awareness in alignment with our values of Safety, Quality, Integrity, and Stewardship
This is more than just an interpreter role—it’s an opportunity to help patients feel seen, heard, and cared for during some of their most vulnerable moments.
