As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Care Center at Decatur Memorial Hospital, you’ll provide life-saving care, coordinate treatments and support patients during critical moments. What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert emergency nursing care, rapidly assessing and stabilizing patients in critical conditions.
• Work collaboratively with emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement fast, effective treatment plans.
• Administer life-saving interventions, including medications, IV fluids and advanced resuscitation techniques.
• Support trauma response efforts, assisting in high-acuity cases and critical procedures.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions and preventive care strategies.
• Stay sharp in a high-intensity setting, continuously expanding your skills through hands-on experience and professional development.
