ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES TECH I - Summer Employment - 20361

The Memorial Health Environmental Services team is an award-winning, nationally recognized team focused on quality. Our Environmental Services Technicians are motivated, self-starters who have a solid work history and experience in providing customer service.  A “just do it” kind of attitude with the ability to work with others to achieve superior results will aid in the success of the Environmental Services Technician. Each Environmental Service Technician’s objective is to maintain a safe, clean and presentable facility to patients and their families in the most efficient and courteous way. The Environmental Services Department is responsible for the daily cleaning of patient care areas, offices and support spaces. Daily cleaning duties may include but not limited to: floor cleaning, waste disposal, intravenous pump cleaning, furniture arrangement, general maintenance and organization of supplies.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to lift objects and climb ladders.
• Moderate physical effort.
