Job Description Summary:

*** $20,000 Sign on Bonus Available *** Surgical Technolgist - Springfield Memorial Hospital -- Previous surgical technologist experience and/or completion of a Surgical Technologist program is REQUIRED -- The Main Operationg Room Surgical Technologist performs “scrub” technologist duties for scheduled surgeries in the Main Operating Room, and assists with the draping and utilization of instruments for a particular surgery and age of the patient serviced. Demonstrates knowledge in the basic principles of sterile technique and sterilization procedures. Clinical ladder advancement opportunities available. Job Description:

Education: - Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist program, or in the last semester of an approved program is required. - National certification and CPR certification are required within 6 months of graduation from recognized program, or within 6 months start date of employment. Licensure/Certification/Registry: - Maintains current CPR certification - Surgical Technologist Certification preferred at all Memorial locations, but is required at Decatur Memorial. Experience: - Previous experience in multiple surgical specialties is preferred.

Pay Transparency

$25.72 - $39.86

Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
