Job Description Summary:
The Manager, Clinical Services, is responsible for the day-to-day operations for assigned specialty services in order to achieve operational excellence. This position assists in evaluating, developing, recommending and implementing operational policies and procedures related to the delivery of safe and efficient quality patient care across specialty services in multiple settings including acute inpatient units, emergency room and multiple outpatient sites of care including. Ensures compliance with established standards, practices and regulatory requirements by all nursing and allied health personnel. Plans, manages and directs the activities of the nursing, allied health and nursing support staff. Maintains effective communication with physicians, staff, director and administration. Maintains or exceeds targeted expectations in reference to patient’s satisfaction, operational and financial outcomes. Maintains positive physician, interdepartmental relations including positive employee morale. Embodies the standards of Memorial Health that support our mission, vision and values.
Job Description:
Education: - Bachelor’s degree in clinical or health science field preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registry: - Valid state license to practice in a clinical specialty required. Experience: - Five years of experience in direct patient care required. - Clinical experience in tertiary hospital setting preferred. - 2 – 5 years of supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership ability required. Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Achievement Orientation: Possesses a concern for surpassing a standard of excellence, either by striving for improvement of one’s own performance, outperforming others, or by setting goals to achieve something that has not been previously done. - Collaboration: Ability to work cooperatively and inclusively with other individuals and/or teams not formally lead; working together as opposed to working separately or competitively. - Communication: Ability to use written and spoken communication in formal and informal situations to convey meaning, build shared understanding, and productively move agendas forward. - Performance Measurement: Ability to understand and use statistical and financial methods and metrics to set goals and measure clinical as well as organizational performance; commitment to and employment of evidence-based techniques. - Process and Quality Management: Ability to analyze and design or improve an organizational process, including incorporating the principles of high reliability, continuous quality improvement, and user-centered design.
Pay Transparency
$43.71 - $67.76
Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
