Job Description Summary:
The Logistics Technician is responsible for equipment management tasks in the hospital, including the delivery, processing and tracking of equipment, accessories and disposables.
Job Description:
Education and/or Other Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instruction. - Must be attentive to details and accuracy. - Basic computer skills. - Prior experience in a hospital setting; with materials management; with supply / inventory distribution or customer service is beneficial. Environmental Factors Minimal exposure to irritating, unpleasant, or hazardous elements or conditions. Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - While performing the duties of this job the employee is consistently required to walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop to floor level, kneel and/or adjust equipment at floor level. - Ability to communicate orally and in writing. - Ability to receive and comprehend written and oral communications. - Ability to utilize fine motor control in hands, the ability to hear, and the ability to meet visual demands. - The employee will frequently be required to lift, push and pull weight of at least 5 to 75 pounds. Mental Demands - Must be able to work under stress and to adapt to changing conditions. - Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.
Pay Transparency
$16.00 - $23.64
Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
